About OTHER VOICES
In a small town in the hinterland of southern Calabria, Three people fascinated by "dark" atmospheres in the new wave movement, decide to form a band . The reality and the place in Calabria are light years away from the normal standards of the musical scene of the big cities and their movements, but the need to express themselves burns inside of them. So, Domenico Cirillo (Bass), Giuseppe Dromì (Guitar), and Vincenzo Amato (Vocals), involve Francesco Misiti (Drums). In this project and towardsthe end of the 90's they form the "Other Voices". With a repertoire of classic dark music, the play throughout the various provinces in Calabria. At The Same time, they also start to create their very own songs. In 2004 they decide to work in the realization of their first album "Anatomy of a Pain". In 2005 the italian label In The Night Time release "Anatomy of a Pain" as cd. At the moment, the band is made up of Giuseppe Dromì (guitar); Domenico Cirillo (Bass); Vincenzo Amato (Vocals); Francesco Misiti (Drums) Giuseppe Piccolo (Guitar)

 Un pò di numeri: insieme da 12 anni, hanno pubblicato 6 CD e 1 DVD, più di 1200 concerti sulle spalle (negli ultimi anni anche 180 concerti di media l’anno) e 100.000 i kilometri percorsi annualmente sulle strade di tutta Italia! Questi sono gli Adel’s, la band formata nel 1994, composta da Diego “Rockin” Geraci alla chitarra (rigorosamente Gretsch) e alla voce, Fabio “Fabulous” Cinque al contrabbasso (slappato, proprio come facevano i bassisti negli anni ’40 e ’50) e Peppe “Joe” Falzone alla batteria (assolutamente minimale: cassa e rullante). Durante questi 12 anni gli Adel’s, dopo aver iniziato come trio dedito al rock-blues, hanno affinato un loro stile molto più personale (che oramai perseguono da 5 anni) dove Rockabilly, Surf, Blues e Swing convivono insieme creando quello che loro chiamano “Pure South-a-Billy Sound”: i loro musicisti di riferimento sono adesso tutti quegli autori che nei ’40 e nei ’50 suonavano in maniera assolutamente selvaggia, pur mantenendo di base una finezza rarissima da trovare negli artisti odierni! Il frutto del loro stile è l’ultimo CD (intitolato appunto “Pure South-a-Billy Sound”) che li ha visti assiduamente in studio per 2 interi mesi e sul quale hanno puntato tantissimo per accedere al mercato europeo.
Dal vivo sono stati la band di Andy J. Forest, di Rudy Rotta, di James Thompson, di Herbie Goins; sono stati scelti, proprio per la loro capacità di rompere il ghiaccio, per aprire le performance di artisti come BB King, Jethro Tull, Johnny Winter, Eric Sardinas, Nine Below Zero, Dr Feelgood, Jono Manson, Lucky Peterson, Janiva Magness, Boz Skaggs, Marina Rei, Enzo Avitabile, Edoardo Bennato, Skiantos, Chico Banks, Lourie Bell, Vamp Blues Band
